Kindergarten, Here She Comes!

The Friday before Memorial Day was Emma’s last day at preschool.  She’s been going for two years, so it was pretty hard for her to say goodbye to her teachers…and hard for them to say goodbye to their students.  The teachers were already a little teary-eyed as the kids were arriving and this picture was taken.

“But, Daddy, I don’t want to go to kindergarten next year.  I want to go to my REAL school.”

“But, I’m NOT a big girl.  I’m only 4.”

Last night she came to the top of the stairs after she had gone to bed.

Em:  “Guess what, Daddy?”

Me:  “What, honey?”

Em:  “I’ll never get to see my best friend ever again.”

Life is so hard.

  1. Awwwww…..that is hard.

  2. Poor Em! We are going to be in the same spot next week…I think I’m dreading it as much as Emma Grace is.
